Aussie Values

Commenting on "Aussie values"

Define Aussie VALUES? NO ONE including Aussieland should kowtow to any country, but neither should any country including Aussieland interfere with other sovereign country to do their job according to their laws.

How good is Aussieland records in Human Rights? Aussie citizens can’t change Aussie’s Human Rights laws, death in police custody is not dealt with even mountain of money is spent on Royal Commission.

What has Aussie government done to quash recent racial abuse and discrimination?

We can ban all the imports from China, but which country will buy Aussie iron ore, coal, gas, barley, fruit, meat, dairy products, etc? Which country will send their students to fill the empty seats in colleges and universities? Who will fill the empty accommodation and spend tourist dollars to keep the industries afloat?

How is the Treasurer going to explain to his beloved citizens RECESSIONS quarter after quarter?

Why are Aussie politicians behaving worse and worse, and learning from and following the worst behaved person in the world, making foes instead of friends, especially with the largest trading partner which is the Goose that lays the golden eggs?

Liberal Party MPs have been sponsoring in FB, chest beating about Aussie value. One can be self-centred, nationalistic, and gang-ho telling others how to suck eggs, but remember, there are 26 millions mouths to feed in the Aussieland.

With a minimum wage of near $20, and near $25 for casual, can you afford to subsidise from your savings to cover the the exponential rise in cost of living if the lifeline is cut.

Yes, Aussieland is an island, and it had isolated itself from the rest of the world for a long time. The world was different then. The surrounding countries were under developed and Aussies were much wealthier blessed with abundant resources and brain power. Unfortunately, Aussies are falling behind, even in education standard in the global scene.

The word “corruption” was common in many countries’ vocabulary, but now Aussies can no longer deny corruption does not exist in this land.

Before I am bombarded with all racially unkind comments, may I ask what has CCP or China done to upset you so much? What have Aussie MPs done to upset the CCP?

There are different political parties in Aussieland - Liberal, Labor, Green, etc. They all have their so called values and ideals. Each thinks that they have the policies for the good of the Aussies. Are they? Even in the recent time, state governments can’t agree with the federal government. So do Aussies really believe that other government or foreign political party have to agree with the Aussie?

I am as Aussie as many rational Aussies. I have been an Aussie for more than 40 years! Wars are ugly, including Trade Wars!

Scott Morrison PM of Australia

Commenting on "Scott Morrison PM of Australia"

Morrison has lost all my respect as the PM of Australia, and I hope he will not win another term in office.

He is getting as nutty as Trump. Not only he starts to behave like Trump, but also he is making decisions on the run, like on the latest grant scheme to keep the tradies‘ jobs afloat.

The renovation grant is a bit of a joke, favouring the upper class more than the middle income group. This sounds like a great incentive, but with a price tag $150k to $750k renovation, can average Australians afford? This will benefit those who buy and renovate for flipping.

The negative impact of this grant is pushing up house prices.

Morrison appears more like a state opposition party leader. Whatever the Victorian Premier does, he says otherwise. During the early onset of the Coronavirus pandemic, he encouraged Australians not to concern about the spread and go to attend footy game, and now he sees no problem for large crowd to attend Black Lives Matter rally.

Did Morrison advise Trump holding a Bible to have a photo session in front of a church, and Trump with his wife standing in front of the papal statue for no other reason except to have a snapshot?

Morrison is so happy to be invited by Trump to attend the G7 meeting, and obligingly stupid to be the mouth piece of Trump to do the dirty work condemning China for spreading the virus!

What I expect from a Leader

Wake up people who blindly believe that they live in a country of democracy, observing human rights, civilised, and led by a great leader. You are not different from those poor victims who were brain-washed, and poisoned by their leader and finally perished in Jones Town.

A country needs a leader - one with empathy, dignified, and loves his people and his sovereign land.

A true leader commands from the frontline to lead his people out of trouble, and definitely do not hide in a bunker in time of an emergency.

A great leader stays calm and give clear directions. He celebrates victory, but not to brag about things that are yet to commence and results are still far fetched.

I am just a logician, and therefore I can only offer some logical advice to those failed leaders who open their mouths more often than doing constructive things.

Do not bury your heads in the sand or wear blinkers, because you need to see for yourself what your country has turned into.

Do not lecture other leaders how to run their countries, because you have no idea how to run your own life, let alone lead the people the country.

Do not ask for forgiveness because you have committed unforgivable sin, creating fear and hatred among the people.

Do not shift the blame onto others, because you have something evil you want to hide.

Do not blame others for reciprocating with violence, because leaders with a violent streak will resort to violence to settle an unrest.

Do not point a finger at another leader, because your other three fingers are pointing back at you.

No one is indispensable. There are many more brilliant people in the whole wide world can do a better job, bringing peace and prosperity to the one and only race - the Human race.

Please refrain from commenting with racial undertone.

Time and again, the loose canons, Deputy Sheriff and Gladys Liu, open their mouths at the wrong moment. Why do matters that involve China, our biggest trading partner, turn into brownie point scoring opportunity between the two opposing parties? Relationship is not developed when China is dragged in as a shooting target.

More than than 125 countries have signed up to the BRI, including our closest neighbour New Zealand. Shouldn’t these kind of discussion left to state MPs rather than a Federal member?
