Australia reports alarming spike in hotel quarantine cases

I may sound arrogant, but I do think that many so called experts and politicians, especially those in federal arena, are irrational nuts.

How can anyone assume that airborne transmission does not present and contribute serious danger to the community? The amount of time debating and the reluctance to set up offshore quarantine centres are causing enormous damage to the psychological well-being and health risks to the community, not to mention the snap lockdowns are affecting the livelihood of many small businesses.

I have never shown and expressed so much dislike of an Australian PM until Morrison took the seat. However, life is about never says never.

Let common sense prevail, and stop travellers not only from India, but also countries which have high infection cases and those which are too relaxed in dealing with COVID-19.

Australia welcomes Belt and Road Initiative

Who is Scott Morrison, and how stable is his mental state? Is he really serious about national security or is he just a show off?

When he gets dumped in the next election because the true damage to Australian economy is realised, he will be off to Hawaii again, leaving the mess for the next PM to clean up. Like many kids will say, "he is not a nice man. Always angry with the Chinese". He must be the model of the ultimate Xenophobia!

Morrison probably suffers from severe dementia. He forgets what he had said and signed.

Australia can have the trade cake and enjoy eating it too, only if Turnbull and Morrison just ask New Zealand how they do it.

It may not be just trade war. Could this be a war in the making?

South African wineries toast tariffs that uncorked Chinese market

This is the Trilogy of Australian Trade Disaster.

Is this the final nail to the coffin for the trade debacle created by the Morrison government?

China raised the red wine tariff a few months ago accusing Australian dumping its wine, and now China has raised the tariff to 218%, which could cost Australia wine producers USD 1.2 billion annually.

Many people think that Australia is still doing well with exports, but are the figures current? It depends on how the accounting records are processed.

Although the red wines have been exported and recorded, the ships are still in the seas, and not unloaded. Goods have not been received and paid for, but are recorded as sold. The figures nay look good for the time being, but what what's next?

What’s China’s beef now? It's increasingly South American

Watch out Australia, there are vultures all around the world. If relationship between Australia and China is repaired sooner, Australia is going to have "a recession we have to have due to the Government's stupid move".

Australia exports beef and lobsters indirectly via middlemen to China. The middlemen have their cut, and prices go haywire. It is just intolerable and China has no choice but turns to other suppliers.

New Zealand beef quality is comparable to Australian beef, and no doubt Australian trade debacle also creates an export opportunity for its closest neighbour.

40 healthcare workers in Malaysia who had both doses of vaccine test positive for COVID-19

Can this be true? I don't doubt this at all. The vaccine used is not mentioned in the main body but the text associated with the photo indicated what it was.

No wonder the company CEO indicated that recipients may require a third with 12 months, or even a fourth dose following later. Costing USD 20 a jab, the company must be laughing to the bank!

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-16/pfizer-boss-says-third-covid-vaccine-dose-needed-within-a-year/100073356

Unfortunately, companies producing vaccines can get away with such indemnity.

The question one must ask is wny the CEO made such statement. Does he know something that the world does not?

VIP flights for MPs top $17 million in two years

I am getting more and more disgusted by those MPs who are selfish, self-serving, inconsiderate and non-contributory during the parliamentary sessions.

God save Australia from this useless bunch.

Xinjiang ‘internment camps’: research institute got it wrong, official says

Instead of calling for an investigation about the origin of the corona virus, I think it is more useful and beneficial for Morrison to call for an international investigation to the origin of the accusation about Xinjiang's human rights and prison camps issues.

Rumour mongering must be stopped if we want to live harmoniously and peacefully among global neighbours. Australia should not be following other countries blindly, like a pack bullies, to fight in wars based on fabricated intelligence. The question is who will benefit from wars the most. It does not need to have Einstein's IQ to know that all parties with financial gain from the wars before, during g and after the wars must be having the last laugh, and celebrating with the loot.

One must be mindful that loving a country does not automatically link to the love of the ruling party of that time. I am not a member of any Australian political party, but I love Australia. I do not like anyone or any country to accuse Australia for wrong doing. The same can be said about those who love China. The people who love their country do not like their country's image be tarnished.

Australian government do not want the national security compromised. However, if the government is misled and keep accepting intelligence and reports from within
and foreign sources, without proper verification, doesn't it compromise our security? If proven the information is wrong, who are those people or who are the people behind that provide the false or fabricated information?

It is time for Morrison to grow up, and stop being a US's lap dog.

China turns to US coal to fill void created by Australia import ban, offers trade deal boost

As Australians, our loyalty should be to Australia and Australians. However, the Australian PM Morrison has lost his plot, and backed the wrong horse. By doing so, Australia's future prosperity is uncertain.

The JobKeeper and JobSeeker subsidies could have been paid by the export income from the sales of coal, lobster, barley, red wine ,meat, and education during the pandemic. These export income are ongoing, but the government cannot afford to dig into the coffers repeatedly after 28 March 2021.

As a marketer, so we all led to believe, Morrison should know that it probably costs ten times more effort or resources to find a customer than to keep an existing one. In the present case, losing China will take more than ten times the sources to find one let alone to establish trade.

The business circles are like a battlefield, and the cry of nationalism comes before allies.

Stake in huge iron ore mine in Guinea may cut China’s dependence on Australia

I am getting more and more concerned about the future of Australia. I have written about the gungho and arrogant manner in dealing with China, our largest trading partner.

If China can transform from a developing status to a superpower in about 4 decades, wharpt can stop China from writing off Australia as a supplier of produce and commodities? The livelihood of Australians will be jeopardised and standard of living will continue to slide.
