Democracy is the name of the game and the hindrance. Since Australian government keeps criticising other countries being autocratic or dictatorial, they cannot do what those countries do, except to behave like those crazy idiotic “leaders” overseas, reinforcing the “Australia Can’t Do” mentality.
Governments need to bite the bullet not to pussy foot around when life is at stake. What is the point of collecting statistics if it is not put into good use?
Duty of care is the responsibility of every citizen and if any infected person does not go into isolation but go round infecting others is committing an offence and should be charged.
